2- Abu al-Sulayl reported:
“The daughter of Abu Dharr came in wearing two coarse woolen wraps; her cheeks were dark, and she was carrying a basket. She stood before him while his companions were present and said, ‘Father! The ploughmen and farmers claim that these copper coins of yours are now worthless.’ He replied, ‘My daughter, set them down, for—praise be to Allah—your father today owns neither yellow nor white; he has nothing but these few fils (copper coins).’
3- ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn related:
“I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when Fāṭimah—may Allah have mercy on her—came and stood before him. I looked at her and saw that the color had drained from her face. He said, ‘Come closer, Fāṭimah.’ She moved forward until she was standing right in front of him. He raised his hand, placed it on her chest where a necklace would rest, spread his fingers, and then prayed:
‘O Allah, You who satisfy the hungry and elevate the lowly, do not let Fāṭimah, daughter of Muḥammad ﷺ, ever go hungry.’
ʿImrān continued: ‘I then looked at her, and the blood had returned to her face; the pallor was gone just as it had previously overwhelmed her natural color.’
