Benefits derived from the hadith:
- It is impermissible to swear by anything other than Allah; such an act amounts to shirk and disbelief in Him.
- The reverence conveyed through an oath is a right that belongs exclusively to Allah, so one must swear only by Him.
- An oath sworn by something other than Allah does not require expiation, for no expiation has been prescribed for it.
ما يستفاد من الحديث:
١- تحريم الحلف بغير الله وأنه شرك وكفر بالله.
٢- أن التعظيم بالحلف حقّ لله ﷾ فلا يحلف إلا به.
٣- أن الحلف بغير الله لا تجب به كفّارة؛ لأنه لم يذكر فيه كفارة.
