Points derived from the ḥadith:

1. Astrology is forbidden and counts among the grave sins, for it is a branch of siḥr, and whoever accepts it will not enter Paradise.
2. Wine-drinking is forbidden, and a stern warning is issued against anyone who dies without repenting from it.
3. Maintaining kinship bonds is obligatory, while severing them is forbidden.
4. One must repudiate siḥr in all its forms.
