3- The permission clearly pertains only to attending the mosque for prayer. As for listening to admonitions and the Eid sermons, women are required to be present, as will be seen in the hadith of Umm ʿAṭiyyah: “We were commanded, on the two Eids, to bring out the adolescent girls and the women who remain in seclusion.”

4- The report shows the severity with which one is rebuked for objecting to the Prophet’s sunnah.

5- Anyone who wishes to interpret the Lawgiver’s words according to an understanding he deems correct must do so with politeness, respect, and sound guidance.
