(3) …the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two rak‘ahs and then departed.
It is related by Malik (1/168–69); then by al-Bukhari (1/389; 2/275), Muslim (2/127), and Ahmad (3/149, 164) — all through Malik, from Ishaq b. Abd Allah b. Abi Talhah, from the Companion. The wording cited here is that of al-Bukhari.
Al-Nasa’i (1/120) and Ahmad as well (3/145, 226) report it through other chains from Ishaq with a similar wording, which includes the phrase: “and he prostrated on it.”
