Asl Sifat Salat al-NabiNasir al-Din al-Albani

4- Subḥānak Allāhumma Rabbana! (Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord!) Wa bi-ḥamdika, Allāhumma! (and with Your praise, O Allah!) Ighfir lī (forgive me). He would repeat this supplication frequently.

khilqatan (in physical form); this reading is cited by al-Sindi. (4) The report also comes from Aisha, who said: “The Prophet used to repeat frequently in his bowing and his prostration …” and she quoted the supplication. It is related by al-Bukhari (2/238; 8/15–16, 596); Muslim (2/50); Abu Dawud (1/140); al-Nasai (1/160, 168); Ibn Majah (1/289); Ibn Nasr (p. 75); al-Tahawi (1/137); al-Bayhaqi (2/86); and Ahmad (6/43, 49, 100, 190) through the chain of Mansur, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, from her. Al-Tahawi records a variant wording: “Subhanaka-llahumma, wa bi-hamdik, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk, faghfir li, innaka anta al-tawwab” (“Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise; I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You, so forgive me, for You are the Ever-Relenting”)—but this chain contains Muammal b. Ismail. Muslim also transmits, through al-Aʿmash from Muslim (Abu al-Duha) from Masruq, the wording: “He would often say, shortly before he died: ‘Subhanaka, wa bi-hamdik, astaghfiruka, wa atubu ilayk.’” I said: “Messenger of Allah, what are these new words I hear you repeating?” He replied: “They have been appointed for me as a sign concerning my community; when I observe it I say them: ‘Idha jaa nasr Allah wa-l-fath …’ to the end of the surah.” Hammad—namely, Ibn Abi Sulayman—disagreed with the two preceding transmitters; he narrated it from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, from
