Al-Hakim and al-Daraqutni (no. 154) also reported it through Jariyah b. Haram, from Humayd, in the wording: “The Companions of the Messenger of Allah used to prompt one another in prayer.” Al-Hakim mentioned it merely as a supporting narration, but it too is weak. Concerning Jariyah b. Haram, al-Dhahabi said: “He is ruined” (i.e., utterly unreliable).
