Asl Sifat Salat al-NabiNasir al-Din al-Albani

Tirmidhi added: “No narration by Habib b. Salim from his father is known. Habib was the freedman of al-Nuʿman b. Bashir and transmitted several reports directly from him. Sufyan b. ʿUyaynah also narrated—from Ibrahim b. Muhammad b. al-Muntashir—the same chain that these reporters give; this is the correct version.” I say: Ibn Majah likewise records it (1/388), and his wording makes no mention of the Friday prayer. The report has further corroborations. One is from Samura b. Jundub, who relates that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer: Sabbih isma rabbika al-aʿla (Surah al-Aʿla) and Hal ataka hadith al-Ghashiyah (Surah al-Ghashiyah). Abu Dawud (1/176), Nasai (1/210), Tiyalisi (121), and Ahmad (5/13) transmit it through several chains from Shubah: “Mabed b. Khalid narrated to us, from Zayd b. ʿUqbah, from him.” Misʿar followed Shubah in narrating it from Mabed; Ahmad (5/14) preserves that version. This isnad is sound, as al-Iraqi affirmed (quoted by al-Shawkani, 3/234); all its transmitters are those of the two Sahihs except Zayd b. ʿUqbah, who is reliable according to al-Taqrib. Al-Hafiz also assigned it to Ibn Hibban in al-Talkhis (4/622). Al-Masʿudi diverged, narrating from Mabed with the wording “in the two ʿid prayers” instead of “in the Friday prayer.” Ahmad (5/14) and al-Tahawi (1/240) record that wording. Al-Masʿudi is weak because of the confusion that befell him. Yet Shubah corroborated his wording in a report found in Ahmad (5/7) and likewise in al-Tahawi. Ahmad also narrates it (5/19) from Misʿar, from Sufyan and Mabed b. Khalid, from Zayd b. ʿUqbah, from the Prophet ﷺ as a mursal report.
