As for the hadith of Anas, it is recorded by al-Diya al-Maqdisi in al-Mukhtara through Sulayman ibn al-Mughira from Thabit, raised to the Prophet: “The Jews envy you for the salam (greeting of peace) and for saying amin.” Its isnad is sahih (sound), God willing.
As for the hadith of Muadh, al-Tabarani relates it in al-Awsat in a longer version similar to the report of Muhammad ibn al-Ashath from Aishah, except that it mentions “returning the salam and straightening the rows” instead of “the qiblah and the Friday prayer.” Al-Mundhiri, followed by al-Haythami (2/113), stated: “Its isnad is hasan (reliable).”
