Asl Sifat Salat al-NabiNasir al-Din al-Albani

He also said:

“During the prayer, the worshipper is privately conversing with his Lord; therefore, let him take care over what he says in that conversation. And none of you should recite the Quran so loudly that he drowns out another (1).” (2)

(1) Al-Baji explains that raising one’s voice disturbs others and prevents them from concentrating on the prayer, emptying the heart for it, and reflecting on the Qur’an with which one communes with his Lord. He adds: “If it is forbidden to raise one’s voice when reciting the Qur’an because it harms those who are praying, then it is even more forbidden to do so with hadith or anything else.” Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr comments: “When a Muslim is prohibited from harming another Muslim even during an act of piety such as Qur’an recitation, then harming him in anything else is all the more strictly forbidden.” (2) The report comes through al-Bayadi (Furwah b. ʿAmr). It is narrated by Malik, al-Muwattaʾ 1:101–102; al-Bukhari, Afʿal al-ʿIbad no. 93 (with a corroborating route from Muhammad); and Ahmad, Musnad 4:344, through Yahya b. Saʿid → Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. al-Harith al-Taymi → Abu Hazim al-Tammar → al-Bayadi: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out while the people were praying and their voices had become loud with recitation, so he said …” The chain is sound; all its transmitters up to al-Bayadi are those relied upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. A supporting narration is found in ʿAbd al-Razzaq, Musannaf, from Maʿmar → Ismaʿil b. Umayya → Abu Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Rahman → Abu Saʿid al-Khudri: while the Prophet ﷺ was in retreat in the mosque he heard people reciting aloud, so he drew back the curtain of his enclosure and said
