Asl Sifat Salat al-NabiNasir al-Din al-Albani

In sum, this provides a strong corroboration for the text of the hadith. It is further supported by the report of Ibrahim al-Saksaki, from Abd Allah ibn Abi Awfa, who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “I cannot memorize anything of the Quran; teach me something that will suffice.” He replied: “Say: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), al-hamdu lillah (Praise be to Allah), la ilaha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah), Allahu akbar (Allah is the Greatest), and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (there is no might nor power except with Allah).” The man asked, “Messenger of Allah, that is for Allah; what is for me?” He said: “Say: Allahumma, irhamni, warzuqni, wa aafini, wahdini (O Allah, have mercy on me, provide for me, grant me well-being, and guide me).” (One version adds: “waghfir li – and forgive me.”) When the man rose to leave he gestured with his hand—another wording says he counted them on his fingers until they were ten—so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “This man has filled his hands with good.” It was recorded by Abu Dawud (1/133), al-Nasai (1/146), al-Hakim (1/241), al-Daraqutni (p. 118), al-Bayhaqi (2/381), al-Tayalisi (no. 109), Ahmad (4/353, 356, 382), Ibn Hibban, Ibn Khuzayma (1/80/2), and al-Tabarani through several chains. Al-Hakim judged it “sound according to the criterion of al-Bukhari,” and al-Dhahabi agreed. I say: this al-Saksaki is one of al-Bukhari’s transmitters, yet the majority criticize his retention; in fact, al-Bukhari was faulted for including him. Al-Hakim relates: “I asked al-Daraqutni, ‘Why did Muslim omit al-Saksaki’s hadith?’ He replied, ‘Yahya ibn Saʿid spoke against him.’ I asked, ‘With what evidence?’ He said, ‘He is weak.’” Ahmad likewise said, “Weak,” and he was also declared weak by al-Nasai and al-Uqayli.
