Here ends the book, “The Prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the Opening Takbīr to the Taslīm,” together with its documentation and commentary. It was completed on Monday afternoon, 19 Shaʿbān 1366 AH—more than thirteen centuries after the Hijrah of the Master of the Messengers.
I ask Allah, exalted is He, to bless my life and my time, and to grant me success in gathering everything authentically established from him ﷺ concerning the prayer—and likewise purification—into concise, well-arranged booklets that are easy to consult and free of redundancy and complexity. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.
I conclude this work with the supplication known as the kafārat al-majlis (the expiation for any shortcomings in a gathering):
Subḥānaka Allāhumma wa bi ḥamdik, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā Anta; astaghfiruka wa atūbu ilayk
(Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise; I testify that there is no deity but You; I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You).
May Allah send blessings and peace upon Muḥammad, his family, and his companions.
And the last of our supplications is:
“All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”
