Asl Sifat Salat al-NabiNasir al-Din al-Albani

2- O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done (1) and from the evil of what I have not yet done.
3- O Allah, call me to an easy reckoning.

(2) This report is traced back to Aisha. Farwa ibn Nawfal relates: “I said to Aisha, ‘Tell me something the Messenger of Allah used to supplicate with in his prayer.’ She replied, ‘Certainly; the Messenger of Allah used to say …,’ and she quoted the supplication.” Al-Nasaʾi recorded it (1/192) through the chain: Jarir → Mansur → Hilal ibn Yasaf → Farwa. The chain is authentic according to Muslim’s standard. Muslim himself included it in his Sahih (8/80), as did Abu Dawud (1/242), Ibn Majah (2/432), and Ahmad (6/31, 100, 213, 278) through various routes from Mansur, but without the words “in his prayer.” Al-Nasaʾi also transmitted this shorter wording (2/321). Ibn Abi ʿAsim likewise cited it in as-Sunnah (no. 370, in my critical edition, Islamic Office) through another route from Hilal; the extra wording belongs to him. (1) I.e., “from the evil of the sins I have committed and the good deeds I have omitted,” or, “from the evil of everything connected with my earnings in the first place.” —Sanadi. (3) Another narration from Aisha: she said, “I heard the Prophet ﷺ say during part of his prayer: ‘O Allah, call me to an easy reckoning!’ When he finished I asked, ‘O Prophet of Allah, what is an easy reckoning?’ He replied: …” [Material enclosed in square brackets has been added where required by the context.]
