Khalq Afal al-Ibad lil-BukhariAl-Bukhari

Chapter ⦗66⦘: Taʿarrub (relapsing into desert life) after the Hijrah.

Abu ʿAbd Allāh—may Allah have mercy on him—said: “Present this matter to the scholars and turn away from the ignorant; they will scatter as the people of innovation scatter: ‘Those who have broken up their religion and become sects—you have no part with them’ (Qur’an 6:159).”

It is related from Ṭāwūs, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—that he said, “They are within this community.”
