Khalq Afal al-Ibad lil-BukhariAl-Bukhari

Ahmad ibn Ashkab narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ʿUmārah ibn al-Qaʿqāʿ, from Abu Zurʿah, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:

"There are two phrases that are beloved to the All-Merciful, light upon the tongue yet heavy on the scales: subḥān Allāh wa bi-ḥamdih (Glory be to Allah and to Him belongs all praise), subḥān Allāh al-ʿAẓīm (Glory be to Allah, the Most Great)."
