As ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAmr (may Allah be pleased with him) related from the Prophet ﷺ: “Whatever you find perplexing, refer it to the scholar who knows it, and let no one venture into the ambiguous passages except one to whom their meaning has been made clear.”
