Adam narrated to us; Shuʿbah narrated to us; Musa ibn Abi ʿUthman narrated to us. He said: I heard Abu Yahya relate from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “The caller to prayer is forgiven for as far as his voice carries.”

Sulayman also narrated to us, and Shuʿbah transmitted the same report.
