Ismaʿil narrated to us; Malik narrated to me, from Ziyad ibn Saʿd, from ʿAmr ibn Muslim, from Tawus al-Yamani, who said: “I met a number of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who used to say, ‘Everything is by the divine decree.’”
