Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahim narrated to us; Mansur ibn Salamah narrated to us; al-Walid ibn al-Mughira—who was trustworthy—narrated to us; Mishrah ibn Haman narrated, from ʿUqbah ibn ʿAmir (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “The greatest number of hypocrites in my community are its Qur’an-reciters.”
