Hajjaj ibn Minhal narrated to us; Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn ʿAṭāʾ, from Ṣafwān ibn Yaʿlā, from his father, who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting from the pulpit: “And they will cry, ‘O Malik! Let your Lord put an end to us.’” (Q 43:77)
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: " ﴿وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ﴾ [الزخرف: ٧٧] "
