Ishaq ibn Nasr narrated to us; ‘Abd al-Razzaq reported from Maʿmar, from Hammam, from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who transmitted from the Prophet ﷺ: “The recitation was made easy for David—meaning the Quran—so whenever he ordered that his mount be saddled, he would have completed the recitation before the saddling was finished.”
