ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us; Maʿmar transmitted from Hammām, from Abū Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The Quran was made easy for David, so whenever he ordered that his mounts be saddled, he would finish reciting the Quran before they had been fully saddled.”
