Muhammad ibn Salam narrated to us; Sufyan transmitted it, from Ayyub ibn Musa, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Prophet ﷺ had a signet ring on which was engraved “Muhammad, Messenger of Allah,” and he said: “No one is to reproduce the inscription of my ring.”
