Abu Maʿmar narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Warith related to us, from ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn Suhayb, from Anas—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Prophet ﷺ fashioned a signet ring and declared, “We have adopted a ring and engraved an inscription upon it, so no one is to duplicate this engraving.”
