Asbagh narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Wahb related to me; Yahya ibn Ayyub related to me, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid, who said: “I asked ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), ‘What is al-qadar (Divine Decree)…?’ He answered, saying: ‘O Mujahid! Where, then, is His statement: “Surely, His is the creation and the command” (al-Aʿraf 7:54)?’”}
