Al-Hakam ibn Abān said: Ikrima narrated to me—on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him)—that the Messenger reported: “When Allah, exalted be His remembrance, decrees a matter, He speaks; the earth, the heaven, and the mountains tremble, and all the angels fall down in prostration.”
