ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us; Ibn Fuḍayl narrated, from al-Aʿmash, from al-Minhal, from Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī, who said: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek protection with these words. He also said, ‘Recite the Quran,’ and he forbade them to raise their voices when they ascended to a high place.”
