Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUmar narrated to us—Hammām reported to us—from Qatādah—from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him)—from the Prophet ﷺ, conveying it from his Lord. He said:
“Allah, Exalted and Glorified, does not wrong a believer for any good deed: he is repaid for it with sustenance in this world. As for the disbeliever, the recompense for his good deeds is handed to him in this life; then, when he arrives in the Hereafter, he will have no good deed left for which he might receive any reward.”
