Hibbān narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah informed us; from Sufyān; from al-Aswad ibn Qays; from Thaʿlabah ibn ʿAbbād al-ʿAbdī, who said: I heard Samurah ibn Jundub say: The Prophet ﷺ declared, “If you know that I have fallen short in conveying anything of my Lord’s messages…” They replied, “We bear witness that you have indeed conveyed your Lord’s messages.”
