ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muʿāwiyah narrated to me, from Sulaym ibn ʿĀmir, from Abū Umāmah al-Bāhilī—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: “Recite the Quran and do not let these hanging copies delude you, for Allah does not punish a heart that has embraced the Quran.”
