Yahya ibn Bukayr narrated to us; al-Layth narrated to us, from Khalid, from Saʿid, from Makhramah ibn Sulayman, that Kurayb—the client of Ibn ʿAbbas—reported:
“I asked Ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with him), ‘How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the night prayer?’ He answered, ‘He would recite in one of his apartments, and those who were outside could still hear his recitation.’”
