Musa narrated to us; Hammam narrated to us; Qatadah informed me, from Safwan—who heard Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him), who in turn heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite…”—then he recited: “The witnesses will say, ‘These are the ones who lied against their Lord; surely the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.’” (Hud 18).
