Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Uways narrated to us; Kathīr ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAwf related to me, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Hold fast, all of you, to the rope of Allah and do not become divided; and do not be like those who broke up and differed after clear proofs had come to them.” (Āl ʿImrān 105)
