Abu Jaʿfar also told me: “I heard Yazid ibn Harun, who conveyed to us the report of Ismaʿil, from Qays, from Jarir, from the Prophet ﷺ: ‘You will indeed see your Lord.’ Yazid then declared, ‘Whoever denies this is disavowed by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.’”
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ هَارُونَ، وَحَدَّثَنَا حَدِيثَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ: «إِنَّكُمْ رَاءُونَ رَبَّكُمْ» فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ: «مَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهَذَا فَهُوَ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ﷺ»
