Abu Maʿmar related it to us; ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated it to us and said: Yazīd conveyed it to us; the son of Muṭarrif ibn ʿAbd Allah informed me, from ʿImrān (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, for what purpose do those who act, act?’ He replied, ‘Everyone is facilitated for that for which he was created.’”
