Ahmad ibn Humayd narrated to me; Qanan ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Nahmi narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn ʿAwsajah, from al-Baraʾ—may Allah be pleased with him—reporting from the Prophet ﷺ. He heard Abu Musa reciting and remarked, “It is as though this voice were one of the voices of the family of David.”
