As for those matters in which a person is given a choice: if the concession is intended to ease matters for the legally accountable individual, the choice is purely one of preference and inclination. However, if the concession is granted for the benefit of someone under one’s guardianship, then one is obliged to select the option whose advantage is predominant.

Universal expressions
Among the expressions that convey universality are words such as kull ("every") and jamiʿ ("all"); a singular noun in a possessive construction; an indefinite noun occurring in the context of prohibition, negation, interrogation, or a conditional clause; and a noun made definite by the article al- that signifies
