369 — “Every Muslim is inviolable to another Muslim. They are brothers who support one another. Allah, the Exalted, does not accept any deed from a polytheist after he has embraced Islam unless he separates himself from the polytheists and joins the Muslims.”
Al-Nasa’i recorded it (1/358) through Bahz ibn Hakim, from his father, from his grandfather, who said:
“I did not come to you until I had sworn, more times than the number of these”—gesturing to the fingers of his hands—“that I would neither come to you nor follow your religion. I was a man who understood nothing except what Allah and His Messenger taught me. I ask you by the Face of Allah, the Exalted: With what has your Lord sent you to us?” He replied, “With Islam.”
He said, “I asked: ‘What are the signs of Islam?’ He replied: ‘That you say: I have submitted myself to Allah and renounced all else; that you establish the prayer and give zakah. Every Muslim is inviolable to another Muslim…’”
This chain of transmission is good. Al-Hakim authenticated it (4/600), and al-Dhahabi concurred with him.

Ahmad recorded it (5/256–257): Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; Hurayz narrated to us; Sulaym ibn Amir narrated to us, from Abu Umamah, who said:

He said, ‘Nor do people like it for their mothers.
‘Would you like it for your daughter?’
He replied, ‘No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah. May Allah make me your ransom.’
He said, ‘Nor do people like it for their daughters.
‘Would you like it for your sister?’
He replied, ‘No, by Allah. May Allah make me your ransom.’
He said, ‘Nor do people like it for their sisters.
‘Would you like it for your paternal aunt?’
He replied, ‘No, by Allah. May Allah make me your ransom.’
He said, ‘Nor do people like it for their paternal aunts.
‘Would you like it for your maternal aunt?’
He replied, ‘No, by Allah. May Allah make me your ransom.’
He said, ‘Nor do people like it for their maternal aunts.’ Then he placed his hand upon him and said, ‘O Allah, forgive
