Ishaq ibn Abd Allah ibn Abi Talhah was also corroborated in his narration from Anas, both in abbreviated and fuller versions. It has been documented in Sahih Abi Dawud (1482). *
3983—(“Last night, I saw myself at the Ka‘bah, where I saw a brown-complexioned man, as handsome as any brown-complexioned man you have ever seen. He had hair hanging to his earlobes, as beautiful as any such hair you have ever seen; it had been combed, and water was dripping from it. Leaning on two men—or on the shoulders of two men—he was circumambulating the Ka‘bah. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ It was said, ‘This is the Messiah, son of Mary.’
“Then suddenly I saw a man with very tightly curled hair, blind in his right eye, as though it were a protruding grape. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ I was told, ‘This is the False Messiah, al-Dajjal.’”)
Malik recorded it in al-Muwatta’ (3/107), saying: from Nafi‘, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: … and he cited it.
Through Malik, it was also recorded by al-Bukhari (5902 and 6999), Muslim (1/107), and Abu ‘Awanah (1/149), all of them from Malik with this chain.
Musa ibn ‘Uqbah also corroborated Malik; it was recorded by Muslim and Abu ‘Awanah.
And Fulayh ibn Sulayman did likewise; it was recorded by Ahmad (2/126–127).
Salim also corroborated Nafi‘, narrating from Ibn Umar similarly. His wording explicitly indicates that it was a dream-vision, for he said:
“While I was asleep, I saw myself circumambulating the Ka‘bah …”
Its documentation has already been given under number (1857). *
