With this same chain, Ibn Abī Shaybah recorded it in al-Muṣannaf (12/183–184/12482), in an abridged form and with similar wording.
Abū Yaʿlā (13/398/7401), al-Bazzār (3/317/2838), in suspended form, al-Ṭabarānī (2/134/1549), and al-Bayhaqī in Dalāʾil al-Nubuwwah (5/353) also recorded it through routes from Yazīd ibn Hārūn, with the same chain.
Yazīd was corroborated: al-Ṭayālisī said in his Musnad (2/127/945): Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from his maternal uncle al-Ḥārith ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, with the same chain.

Al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd al-Ḥaḍramī likewise corroborated him, reporting from al-Ḥārith, the maternal uncle of Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raised his head toward the sky and said:
“The people of Yemen are coming to you like pieces of a pitch-dark night”—in another version: “like masses of clouds”—... The rest is similar.
It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī (1550) and Aḥmad (4/82)—the other version is Aḥmad’s—both through Ibn Lahīʿah from him. However, Aḥmad said:
From al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd, from al-Ḥārith ibn Abī Dhibāb—if Allah wills—from Muḥammad ibn Jubayr ...
I say: This is how it appears in al-Musnad: “... Ibn Abī Dhibāb.” It likewise appears in Aṭrāf al-Musnad (2/186–187/2073) by Ibn Ḥajar (1). In al-Ṭabarānī it reads: “... Ibn Abī
