I say: Al-Bazzar’s chain of transmission is authentic according to al-Bukhari’s conditions, though this escaped al-Haythami.
Its chain is as follows: Ibn Karamah narrated to us: Ibn Musa narrated to us: Ibn al-Ghasil—whose name was Abd al-Rahman—narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas …
Al-Haythami then said (10/37):

I say: Ibn Saʿd also narrated it in al-Tabaqat (2/252): “Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us of it.”
