“Ahmad and al-Bazzar narrated it. Its chain includes Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, whose hadith is good, though he has some weakness; and the remaining narrators are among those cited in the sound hadith collections.”
Abu Amir al-Aqadi was corroborated by Musa ibn Masud. Abd ibn Humayd said in al-Muntakhab min al-Musnad (3/22/1035): “Musa ibn Masud narrated to me: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us with the same report.”
Musa ibn Masud was also Abu Hudhayfah al-Basri. Al-Bukhari cited him in corroborative narrations, as stated in al-Taqrib.
Al-Hakim also transmitted it through his route in al-Mustadrak (2/20) as supporting evidence.
Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr also corroborated him: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us with the same report.
Al-Bayhaqi transmitted it in al-Sunan (6/157–158).
This Yahya was al-Kirmani, Kufan by origin, also trustworthy, and among the narrators of both al-Bukhari and Muslim.

-
A man who goes forth as a fighter in jihad: if he dies in the course thereof, Allah guarantees him.
-
A man who follows a funeral procession: if he dies in the course thereof, Allah guarantees him.
-
A man who visits a sick person: if he dies in the course thereof, Allah guarantees him.
-
A man who performs minor ablution and performs it well, then goes to the mosque for prayer: if he dies in the course thereof, Allah guarantees him.
-
A man who comes to a leader solely to support and honour him: if he dies in the course thereof, Allah guarantees him.
