I say: Perhaps what is meant by the phrase “other than it” is: other stones. In that case, there is no contradiction.

3356—“Whoever equips a fighter in the path of Allah will have a reward equal to his; and whoever takes good care of a fighter’s family in the path of Allah, and spends [on his family], will have a reward equal to his.”
Al-Ṭabarānī recorded it in al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr (5/283/5234): Maḥmūd ibn Muḥammad al-Wāsiṭī narrated to us; Wahb ibn Baqiyyah narrated to us; Khālid informed us, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Isḥāq, from Muḥammad ibn Zayd, from Busr ibn Saʿīd, from Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: … and then cited it.
I say: This chain of transmission is good. Its narrators are trustworthy and are among Muslim’s narrators, apart from Maḥmūd ibn Muḥammad al-Wāsiṭī, who is Ibn Mutawayh. He was a great hadith master, whose biography is given in Tārīkh Baghdād (13/94–95), Tārīkh al-Islām (23/223), and other works.
With this same chain of transmission, he also recorded it in al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ (8/429/7879), but inserted Mūsā ibn ʿUqbah between ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and Muḥammad ibn Zayd, and named Zayd ibn Thābit in place of Zayd ibn Khālid. The additional wording occurs in his version.
Al-Mundhirī likewise cited it in al-Targhīb (2/158) and said: “Its narrators are those of the Ṣaḥīḥ.”
Al-Haythamī said likewise in Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid (5/283), but he mentioned only the first half of
