And a qudh-dhah is an arrow-feather.
Note: One of these contemporary pretenders to learning—conceited individuals who set themselves arrogantly above the imams of the sunnah, while being ignorant of and hostile to it—has nevertheless styled himself “Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Athari”! He wrote a book which he entitled The Impossibility of the Jinn Entering the Human Body. Its title alone tells you what it contains: he has crammed it with all manner of ignorance concerning the Quran and the sunnah, as well as deception and distortion of the facts. What concerns me here is to point out that he altered this hadith and corrupted its meaning. On p. 27, he cited it as: “hidhāʾ al-qudh-dhati bil-qudh-dhah”; yes, hidhāʾ! Someone unaware of the extent of his ignorance might suppose this to be a typographical error—which is what I would hope—but he soon repeated it on p. 34, together with another error: “hidhāʾ al-qadh-dhati bil-qadh-dhah”! Thus, he vowelled the qaf with a fathah! Whoever wishes to see some detail concerning the ignorance indicated above should refer to the preceding hadith, no. 2918, and to what I wrote beneath it in refutation of him, which decisively demolishes what he claimed to be impossible. It is at the end of the sixth volume, which is currently being printed, and will soon be in the hands of those who love the sunnah, Allah willing. (1) *

And whoever consumes ribā: whoever consumes ribā will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection insane and staggering.” Then he recited: “Those who consume ribā will not rise except as one whom Satan has driven to madness by his touch.” [al-Baqarah 2:275]
