(Note): Abu Yaʿla added, after his words, “and you shall have what you sought reward for”:
Then he said:
“Are you asking me about the Hour? By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, no living soul that is upon the earth today will live to see one hundred years pass over it.”
He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then performed the prayer and said:

Anas said: “At that time, I was about the boy’s age.”
Ahmad also recorded the account of the prayer and his saying, “Where is the one who asked …,” etc.
Ibn Hibban also recorded it in his Sahih (1/387/565 and 4/280/2979), separately in two places, through the route of Abu Yaʿla.
Muslim (8/209), Ibn Hibban (1/387/566), Ahmad (3/428), and Abu Yaʿla (3277) recorded it through the route of Hammad ibn Salamah, from Thabit, from Anas.
As for the final statement—the statement concerning old age—al-Bukhari (6167), Muslim as well, and Ahmad (3/192) recorded it through the route of Qatadah, from Anas.
