This is likewise the correct reading as it appears in Majmaʿ al-Baḥrayn (6/367/3850—Maktabat al-Rushd).
Al-Haythamī said in Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid (9/295):
“Al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī recorded it in al-Awsaṭ in abridged form, and the narrators in both chains are trustworthy.”
In al-Siyar (1/417), al-Dhahabī cited a corroborating report from the hadith of ʿĀʾishah and said: “It contains one who has been declared weak.”
I then found the hadith in Tārīkh Ibn ʿAsākir (12/629), through another chain from Abū Nuʿaym: “Saʿd ibn Aws narrated to us ...” Thus it has “Saʿd,” which is the correct reading. It also has “makes him forget it,” in accordance with the version in al-Ṭabaqāt.
He then recorded (12/630) the hadith of ʿĀʾishah as attributed to the Companion, and, through another chain from her (12/643), as attributed to the Prophet.
Abū Nuʿaym recorded it in al-Ḥilyah (1/141), as did Ibn ʿAsākir (12/658–659), through Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd al-Ḥammānī: “Khālid ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib,” with the same report. Al-Haythamī said in al-Majmaʿ (9/297):
“Al-Ṭabarānī and Abū Yaʿlā reported it through several chains. Some of them include ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib, whose memory deteriorated; the remaining narrators are trustworthy, while the rest of the chains are weak.”
Another chain is from Yaḥyā ibn Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from his father, from Abū Ṣādiq, from Rabīʿah ibn Nājidh, who said: On the day of Ṣiffīn, ʿAmmār said ... a similar hadith.
Al-Bazzār recorded it (2690) and said:
