He added at its end:
“A household in need.”
It was narrated by al-Bukhari in his Sahih (no. 2613—Fath al-Bari), (vol. 2, p. 194, no. 1179—Mukhtasar al-Bukhari), also by Abu Dawud (4150), and by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman (7/312).
It then became clear that the hadith had previously been referenced under no. 2421. However, it is more extensive and more beneficial here, so there is no harm in reproducing it once again. *
3141—“All my ummah will enter Paradise except those who refuse.” They asked, “And who would refuse?!” He said, “Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me has refused.”
It was narrated by al-Bukhari (no. 7280—Fath al-Bari) and Ahmad (2/361), through several routes from Fulayh, who said: Hilal ibn Ali narrated to us from Ata ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: … and he cited it.
I say: This Fulayh is Ibn Sulayman. Much has been said about him on account of his poor retention, although both compilers of the two Sahihs narrated from him. However, al-Hafiz said in the introduction to Fath al-Bari:
“Al-Bukhari and the compilers of the Sunan relied upon him, while Muslim narrated only one hadith from him—the hadith concerning the slander. Ibn Ma'in, al-Nasa'i, and Abu Dawud declared him weak. Al-Saji said: ‘He was among the truthful, but he would make mistakes …’”
Al-Saji’s statement is what al-Hafiz adopted in al-Taqrib, where he said:
“Truthful, but frequently mistaken.”
Al-Dhahabi likewise included him in al-Du'afa' and cited the statements of those who declared him weak.
