“The Hour will not come until there are ten signs...” The hadith includes: “A fire will emerge from the depths of Aden.” In another version: “The last of these will be a fire that emerges from Yemen, driving the people to their place of gathering.”
Muslim narrated it (8/179), as did others, including Ibn Hibban (6804, al-Ihsan).
Know that this fire which will emerge from Yemen before the Hour is distinct from the fire that appeared in Medina in the year 654 AH, in accordance with the Prophet’s statement, peace and blessings be upon him:
“The Hour will not come until a fire emerges from the land of the Hijaz, illuminating the necks of camels in Busra.”
It was narrated by al-Bukhari (7118), Muslim (8/180), Ibn Hibban (6800, al-Ihsan), Abu Nu‘aym in Akhbar Isfahan (1/147), and al-Hakim (4/443), on the authority of Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, attributed to the Prophet. It is among the hadiths absent from Ahmad’s Musnad, despite its vast scope.
The hadith also has another brief corroborating report from Ibn ‘Umar, which al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban authenticated. It is documented in Fada’il al-Sham, no. 11, and was also narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah (15/78). For an explanation of the hadith narrated by the two Shaykhs, consult Fath al-Bari (13/78–79). *

He will then come to the salt plain of al-Jurf and pitch his tent there. Then Medina will be shaken by three earthquakes, and every hypocrite, man and woman, will go out to him.)
Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated it in al-Musannaf (12/181 and 15/143): Yunus ibn
