In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
Publisher’s Foreword
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon the noblest of the messengers, and upon all his family and Companions. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah alone, having no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
To proceed:
It was by Allah’s favor to me that He honored me with a share in serving the sunnah of His Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him. Thus, I became the publisher of this golden series and these radiant pearls of authentic Prophetic hadiths, compiled by the renewing imam and exceptional, eminent hadith scholar, Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani, Abu Abd al-Rahman. May Allah have mercy upon him and grant him spacious gardens of Paradise.
Here before you, dear reader, is the last portion of The Authentic Hadith Series written by the Shaykh. It comprises Volume Seven (3001–3500), Volume Eight (3501–4000), and the beginning of Volume Nine (4001–4035). We should note that we found a gap in the numbering in Volume Eight, after hadith 3624 up to 3937, and another gap in Volume Nine, from 4006 to 4033—the reasons for both of which are unknown to us. This resulted in the omission of 340 hadiths. We considered it best to retain this arrangement because of the importance of the numbering system adopted by the Shaykh, may Allah have mercy upon him, since in his books he refers to the numbers of the hadiths he critically verified and numbered according to his own system.
In view of the density of material contained in this large body of hadiths, we decided to divide it into three volumes.
It is worth mentioning here that this volume represents, naturally, the culmination of the principles and foundations of the Shaykh’s methodology of research and critical verification in the field of this science.
