Umm Kurz is listed among the female Companions, unlike Abū Kurz; thus, that version does not appear to be preserved. And Allah knows best.
2721 — “Some Jews used to come to the Messenger of Allah and say, ‘Death be upon you!’ He would reply, ‘And upon you.’ Aishah then perceived their intent and reviled them. In another version, Aishah said, ‘Rather, upon you be death and condemnation!’ The Messenger of Allah said, ‘Enough, Aishah! [Do not use obscene language.] Allah does not love obscenity or the deliberate use of obscene speech.’ She said, ‘I said, “O Messenger of Allah, they are saying such-and-such.” He replied, “Have I not answered them?” Then Allah revealed: “When they come to you, they greet you with a greeting Allah has not given you”—to the end of the verse.”
Ibn Rāhūyah narrated it in his Musnad (4/168/1): Yaʿlā ibn ʿUbayd informed us; al-Aʿmash informed us, from Abū al-Ḍuḥā, from Masrūq, from Aishah, who said it. I say: This is an authentic chain of transmission meeting the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim. Muslim (7/5) narrated it through Ibn Rāhūyah, and Aḥmad (6/229) narrated it: Abū Muʿāwiyah and Ibn Numayr told us; they said: al-Aʿmash told us the same. It contains the additional wording, which is also found in Muslim through another route from Abū Muʿāwiyah alone. That route contains the other version, which Ibn Rāhūyah also narrated from Abū Muʿāwiyah; Ibn Mājah (2/397) narrated it in abbreviated form through Abū Muʿāwiyah’s route. Al-Nasāʾī narrated it in al-Sunan al-Kubrā (6/482/11571) through al-Faḍl ibn Mūsā, who said: al-Aʿmash informed us the same. It contains the additional wording.
Note: In al-Durr al-Manthūr (6/184), al-Suyūṭī attributed the hadith to ʿAbd al-Razzāq,
